Puede que me haya dejado algo, pero aproximadamente a 4$, que supone una pérdida ahora mismo del 70%.

Desde hace un año se les ve que no estaban contentos con el tipo de financiación que tenían con los bancos y están con un tira y afloja desde entonces con los prestamistas. 

Contango no tiene caja, por lo que lei usan un modelo de linea de crédito con el banco, dinero que usan para las operaciones, abrir nuevo pozos, etc, pero están limitados a la hora de poder adquirir nuevas propiedades o recomprar acciones, etc, o sea están limitados por sus prestamistas. Por eso tuvieron que hacer una ampliación en Diciembre para poder comprar las nuevas propiedades. 

El año que viene no tienen compromisos de abrir nuevos pozos por contrato de arrendamiento, por lo que podrán asignar el dinero a lo que quieran. Mi impresión es que están haciendo limpieza todavía de la empresa que heredaron y están haciendo un giro para que la empresa pueda funcionar integramente con el flujo de caja que generen los pozos en funcionamiento (Esto ya lo han dicho en alguna conference).

No he conseguido, por mas que busqué, encontrar una transcripción de la reunión anual que tuvo lugar en Junio, salvo los pocos comentarios que ya leí del foro de yahoo. Parece que la gente que acudió fue muy bien atendida y salió contenta por las explicaciones que dieron.

Hence, a declaration of going concern means that the business has neither the intention nor the need to liquidate or to materially curtail the scale of its operations.

Simply stated, a going concern is the ability of a business to meet its financial obligations when they fall due.

New Gold Inc. Announces C$150 Million Bought Deal Financing

Toronto, Ontario (August 8, 2019) – New Gold Inc. (“New Gold” or the “Company”) (TSX and NYSE American: NGD) has announced today that it has entered into an agreement with a syndicate of underwriters, under which the underwriters have agreed to buy on a bought deal basis 93,750,000 common shares (the “Common Shares”), at a price of C$1.60 per Common Share for gross proceeds of C$150 million (the “Offering”). The Company has granted the underwriters an option, exercisable at the offering price for a period of 30 days following the closing of the Offering, to purchase up to an additional 15% of the Offering to cover over-allotments, if any. The Offering is expected to close on or about August 30, 2019 and is subject to New Gold receiving all necessary regulatory approvals, including the approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange and the securities regulatory authorities.

The net proceeds of the Offering will be used by the Company to enhance financial flexibility, strengthen the balance sheet, including debt repayment, and general corporate purposes.

The Common Shares will be offered by way of a short form prospectus in all of the provinces and territories of Canada, and may also be offered by way of private placement in the United States.

bueno, una ampliación de un 15% a un precio un poco por debajo del actual o de lo que ha cotizado en las últimas semanas desde que subió; imagino que es bueno a medio plazo porque despeja dudas sobre lo justo que iban para pagar los bonos o poder negociar la refinanciación.

pues si miras el Twitter de Javier Acción parece que ahora está en un brete, porque un medio des-informativo digital ( bolsamania) ha publicado un titular diciendo que "recomendó" comprar acciones, cuando como EAFI que hay tiene que limitarlo a clientes con contrato, y esta des-información le puede causar un problema gordo.
