RESPUESTA IIG BANK:
Dear Mr. Javier,
Yes a Prime Account can be opened with an interest rate of 0.10% p.a.
There is no minimum deposit for a savings account to be opened.
Interest for the Fixed Term Deposits is paid on a quarterly, semi annual or annual basis and it can be transferred to you either by cheque sent by post which is free of charge or by transfer at the charge of €5.00
The internet on-line facility is a view site and not one that undertakes transactions, which would need to be sent to the Bank in original form.
You will be advised before the Term Deposit is maturing, so that you can instruct us accordingly whether to close the account or renew the principal for another term.
The Term Deposit is not renewed automatically upon maturity but funds are transferred in the Prime account if we do not receive any instructions from your part beforehand.
Hope the above clarifies.
