Lo de DC es muy importante, el juez le ha dicho a la juez que ella es la que manda para decir sobre lo que es propiedad de wmi, y DC no piensa intervenir, esto signfica via libre para los 4bill. Creo que este fue el mismo que dijo lo de si los 1,8 bill era un error tipográfico ;)

In a nutshell what the DC court decision means is that the share price of wamuq is seriously under-priced. The bankruptcy court gets to basically determine all the important factual and legal issues which will become binding on the parties by the principles of res judicata, collateral estoppel, and law of the case. We already know Walrath doesn't buy into the fierra argument. So the avoidance powers of the bankruptcy court are going to come into play and force JPM and the fdic to pay up. Bankruptcy law is clear that those assets have to come back to the estate. There is no wiggle room. These decisions will make most of the claims filed in the d.c. court by the fdic and jpm moot and those claims will fall by the wayside even if there is no settlement.
JPM and the FDIC and Johnny thought the d.c. court was going to be their path to success and that path has just been road-blocked. They now have to face Walrath after being rather disrespectful to her and her court. And although they can try to appeal her factual findings, it is extremely rare to have factual findings overturned on appeal. Moreover, WMI in bankruptcy is basically going after JPM not the fdic. Kind of a divide and conquer strategy is going to play out...meaning that once JPM gets hit with Walraths judgments, JPM is going to be putting all the more pressure on the fdic. All imho.
