La inversión en la nueva empresa reorganizada podría ser una oportunidad interesante.
Deberías analizar detenidamente, cuál es el objetivo de la misma, tipo de accionistas; quienes la van a precidir; si el valor con el que arranquen las acciones están
subvaloradas o sobrevaloradas. A lo mejor resulta una buena oportunidad. Recuerda que un inversionista común y corriente no tiene muchas posibilidades de enterarse de esta negociación y de la formación de la nueva empresa reorganizada.
en este cso las cotizaciones mandan y por lo que vemos donde estan no creo que auguren algo muy bueno para los accionistas

Aun les queda un ultimo trading hacia arriba y probablemente con cortos en la vuelta antes de que entren en la conversion, por lo demás la tranquilidad de los accionistas largos que no las veran eliminadas. La empresa reorganizada tambien dara un primer juego de trading, los largos hay que dejarselos a Warren Bufett, aqui el dinero se hace comprando y vendiendo, muchas veces en minutos de margen.
eliminadas no , pero quien no dice que por ejemplo pueden valorar las preferentes a 5$ y las comunes a 0.03, por poner un ejemplo.

Me supongo que en la negociación a la que llegaron, ya deber haber manejado un valor de conversión referencial y para definir ese precio deben haber tomado algún tipo de análisis considerando el valor con el que inicia la compañia reorganizada y el número de acciones de cada una de las clases que formarán parte de lacompañia.
Despite my initial confusion and frustration with the POR which destroyed the conditioned expectations I obtained over three years of checking this board at least 10 times a day I am now more confident in what is transpiring. I'll make this one simple as it may not post anyway.. but they are:
1. Trustful posters state EC had an explanation that was not added to the POR; but will be filed soon
2. Shares are still trading around the value they were prior to this DS/POR ;if this was a bust it would be reflected in PPS
3. SNH wanted the NEWCOS
4. We know there are NOL values
5. We know everything is under-valued
6. There may be various items that can be liquidated by the trust
7. I've mistakenly trusted everyone that I shoudln't have and recently considered not trusting the ones I should (EC and SG)
8. Despite what others think.. I am not entirely sure the things wont change with a new DS/POR in the future
9. Dime is unsettled
10. I want a chance to make some money and at the end of the day.. i'd invest knowing that most chapter 11s that end up with an ongoing concern result in common equity being canceled and that new shares are distributed to debt holders. This is very different and we are not talking about 100,000 dollar company
11. Rosen is a scumbag who would never tell the truth about the value of the company; "Equity is not in the money" ...

I may be foolish for wanting to give 'trust' one final shot... this time trust in the final group possible; the EC and SG. I've been wrong every time someone knew was introduced and gave them the benefit of the doubt... so for one more time I am going to trust that the EC has a plan.. I'd imagine a plan that includes a buyer or a means to make use of the NOLS and have an effective management team with a solid business plan. To have trusted and been wrong for doing so on so many occasions it should be easy to believe that things will work out; the hard part was getting over the idea that this is not going to be like stumbling upon a briefcase filled wit cash... this may be like following an armored vehicles that has dollars slipping out the doors as we drive 50 mph down the road... not an easy or quick return.. but a situation in which a return exists.
