Re: Cobas AM: Nueva Gestora de Francisco García Paramés
Momento para entrar más, lo comentaba el Sr. Silvermoon, el suelo está mucho más alto.
Y tengo el temor de que cuando llegue el día, la acción se despeñe.
Greg Abel, Vice-Chairman of Berkshire’s non-insurance subsidiaries (and still Chairman at BHE), acknowledged that certain businesses were candidates for review to be sold or closed once the economy recovers. A reasonable assumption is the MSR group is underearning by more than $2 billion after-tax.
THE FUTURE: THE NEXT 50 YEARS AT BERKSHIRE.
Annual Letter 2014. Probably between ten and twenty years from now – Berkshire’s earnings and capital Resources will reach a level that will not allow management to intelligently reinvest all of the company’s earnings. At that time our directors will need to determine whether the best method to distribute the excess earnings is through dividends, share repurchases or both. If Berkshire shares are selling below intrinsic business value, massive repurchases will almost certainly be the best choice.
To further ensure continuation of our culture, I have suggested that my son, Howard, succeed me as a nonexecutive Chairman. My only reason for this wish is to make change easier if the wrong CEO should ever be employed and there occurs a need for the Chairman to move forcefully.
If elected, Howard will receive no pay and will spend no time at the job other than that required of all directors. He will simply be a safety valve to whom any director can go if he or she has concerns about the CEO and wishes to learn if other directors are expressing doubts as well.
Annual Letter 2006. In my will I’ve stipulated that the proceeds from all Berkshire shares I still own at death are to be used for philanthropic purposes within ten years after my estate is closed
2019 Annual Letter. Charlie and I have very pragmatic reasons for wanting to assure Berkshire’s prosperity in the years following our exit: The Mungers have Berkshire holdings that dwarf any of the family’s other investments, and I have a full 99% of my net worth lodge in Berkshire stock.
