EMAIL INDEMNITY

You may require us to receive and accept instructions from you by email. We shall act upon such instructions received via email, provided that such instructions or information are sent or are purported to have been sent from the email address provided with your application and client registration documents (the “Email Address”). Communication between us may be by email and may include confidential information. Email communication may not be free from third party interference and may not remain confidential. We cannot guarantee the privacy and integrity of such communication and cannot accept responsibility or liability for any losses, damages or expenses as a result of the use of such means of communication in particular loss, damage or expenses resulting from the non-receipt, partial receipt, or illegible or garbled receipt of instructions or authorized access by any third party or technical breakdown. By completing your application you agreeing, you hereby instruct and authorize the Bank

• To accept and execute instructions received by electronic mail, sent or purporting to have been sent from your email address as indicated above (the Email Address): The Bank will utilize email communication with you.

In continuing with your registration, you also understand, confirm and agree that:

• Any communication from the Bank to you may include confidential information and that an email might not be free from interference by third parties and might not remain confidential;
• The Bank will act upon a request or instructions received or purporting to be originating from the email address you have provided; and
• You are responsible to notify the Bank in writing of any changes in the email address. An acknowledgment will be sent by the Bank confirming these changes.

The Bank cannot guarantee the privacy or confidentiality or integrity of any information being transmitted by email and cannot accept any responsibility for any losses and/or damages whatsoever you might suffer further to the unauthorized access by any third parties and/or the corruption of data in the email or otherwise as received by the Bank. The account holder will bear all and any risks, losses, damages and expenses arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with any email exchanged between account holder and the Bank including those arising from connection with errors, interceptions or technical breakdowns in transmission of any such email.

Básicamente dicen que aceptarán y ejecutarán las ordenes recibidas en cualquier comunicación enviada o presuntamente enviada desde la dirección de correo electrónico comunicada al banco y que no se responsabilizarán de las pérdidas, daños o gastos que resulten. ¿Esta gente desconoce que es MUY fácil enviar mensajes aparentando ser otra persona?

La clausula de "email indemnity" es común en los bancos de Malta que no disponen de internet banking y la comunicación con el cliente se realiza por otros medios: correo postal,fax,correo electrónico. Ya la leí en los contratos de apertura de cuenta de otros bancos. Se curan en salud ante cualquier reclamación futura. Nada extraño,por otra parte: son bancos,no ONGs.

Al consultar las tarifas que aplica Nemea Bank,acabo de reparar en una utilidad inesperada de este banco: transferir dinero a paises fuera del EEE a un costo realmente económico. Por 12 euros puedes transferir cualquier cantidad superior a 50.000 euros. Es algo a tener en cuenta.

Hola a todos, he contactado con el banco porque he cambiado de movil y ya no podia acceder a la web por no tener elcodigo de modirumID. Mi sorpresa ha sido que me han llamado desde Malta una empleada espÑola para asegurarse de mi identidad y muy amablemente me ha enviado el informe de cuentas del banco de 2o13 al preguntarle sobre las inversiones del banco. Nose como poner fichero adjunto por lo que si algun entendido lo quiere analizar que me lo diga.
Hasta ahora un 10 para Nemea, aunque me asusta un poco tanta facilidad……

Así es, un banco que funciona siempre nos va a sorprender. Es que los bancos malteses tienen una tradición de formalidad inglesa.

La facilidad en la banca on-line deberia ser norma general. No es esa cualidad la que asusta en este banco. Aquí tenemos el ejemplo de ING DIRECT,paradigma de la banca on-line sin apenas oficinas físicas,y nadie pone en duda su fiabilidad y solvencia porque es filial de ING,uno de los principales grupos bancarios europeos. El problema de NEMEA BANK es que detrás no hay ninguna entidad seria y solvente que lo respalde (échale un vistazo al accionariado y al capital social) y su cuenta de resultados es ridícula (casi cualquier pyme que conozcas mueve mas dinero y declara mayores beneficios que este banco). Todo esto si que es para andarse con recelo.

Alguien que sepa ingles y tenga conocimiento financieros le puedo enviar el informe de resultados de nemeabank del año pasado. Hay cada vez mas españoles que invertimos en este banco y puede ser interesante que algun forero nos ilumine con el análisis de este informe. Enviarme un mp y os lo paso. SALUDOS.
