Pues yo sólo les he mandado un e-mail diciéndoles que operaré de momento en demo. En realidad, abres la cuenta real y te da acceso a ambas si les mandas la documentación. Si no, sólo accedes a la demo.

Pues, chico, no sé como lo has hecho.
Desde su web vas a Virtual Trading; una vez rellenado el cuestionario, te dicen que mandes la documentación a Holanda para abrir la cuenta; he recibido un email de bienvenida(que da por hecho que voy a abrir una cuenta real) con un enlace que, después de meter las claves, te pide el W-8BEN para clientes internacionales, que lógicamente no está. No he visto ninguna opción de abrir una cuenta demo únicamente.
¿Donde está el truco?

No lo sé. A mí me está dejando entrar y no les mandé nada.
Yo estaba ya también en su lista de correo. No se si tendrá algo que ver. De todas formas no me deja operar en real lógicamente.

I know, I can reach up to the end. But, as far as they were virtual positions because everything is virtual trading, today it shows nothing except the message 'You have no current positions'. In fact, I recently opened the account but I have not submitted the signed form and deposit any money yet because I want to do some papertrading for educational purposes first.
The day before yesterday I was doing virtual trading and perhaps that was the reason it was showing that. But if it's like that there could be a bug in the software.

Hello Mr. Nogues,
In order to obtain the detached window you provided as an attachment, please hover over the Account tab and select Positions. Then, under Action click on Trade, this should take you to the All-In-One Trade Ticket screen. On the far right-hand side of your screen you should see three tabs, Balances, Positions, and Order Status, click on Positions then on the bottom right hand corner of that small tab click on Detach. You will get the Account Positions: My View screen and on the gray bar click on Greeks. This will give you the exact window you are asking about.

To access the Greeks for your positions you may access two ways. First, if you are in your positions page, on the far right-hand side, under Action, click on Chain. You should be at the Virtual Option Chains screen. On the first gray bar you may click on Option Pricer to obtain the Greeks for the desired position. Or you may simply hover over the green Quotes tab, select Option Chains, and then on the first gray bar click on Option Pricer.

Me estoy dando cuenta que por contrato de opción en la cuenta demo cobran alrededor de 14.25$ ¿Cuánto cuesta cada contrato de opciones en Interactive Brokers?

P.D. Olvídalo, he visto que varía según volumen y siendo active trader ya es asequible. Como a todos les gusta que operemos mucho.

Sí, me parece que no hay ni comparación en cuanto a las comisiones de opciones, las últimas puts que he vendido, por 3 contratos me han cobrado $2,18. Estoy mirando las tarifas de acciones y opciones: por acciones, tarifa plana de $8.95: más caro que IB, sólo es interesante si vas con un volumen alto. Y las opciones, no aparece la diferencia entre active trader y standard: en cualquier caso, operando más de diez contratos consigues un precio de $1.25 por contrato, $1.50 si es standard. En conclusión, IB más barato.
Luego están las Standard Brokerage fees, que no tengo claro qué son, por ejemplo hay una comisión por "exercise or Assignement" de $8.95. Lo único que faltaba que te cobren si te ejercitan una opción.
Lo voy a seguir estudiando para acciones y ETFs, descartado para opciones, para no tenerlas todas en IB: tal y como me dijo mi padre, no te fies de nadie ni tengas todos los huevos en una misma cesta.
Si estás probando la plataforma, ya nos comentarás como va. Quizás tenga utilidades que hagan merecer la pena el sobreprecio. A ver si me pongo con ello esta semana, pero como viene Semana Santa, no sé...

Sí, estoy probando la plataforma. Voy a intentar meter todas las posiciones nuevas del blog por ahí para darle mayor realismo.
Tendría que habilitarlo también para futuros y future options pero ahí me pide ya la documentación que falta.
En la cuenta en real, dar mucha más información y utilidades. Todavía no se, ni ellos me han explicado satisfactoriamente como fui capaz de sacar las griegas globales de la posición.
