Announced today that it has entered into an "At-the-Market" ("ATM") Sales Agreement, dated August 19, 2013, with BTIG, LLC ("BTIG"). Pursuant to the agreement the Company may sell from time to time, under its effective registration statement on Form S-3, up to $2.73 million in aggregate offering price of its common stock, par value $0.01, per share through BTIG, acting as sales agent. The ATM places no restrictions on DARA's ability to enter into and consummate other equity and debt financing transactions.

Menudo batacazo para el que la lleve sufriendo desde hace tiempo. No se si esto la catapulta al OTC de cabeza. Si el orphan no llega pronto ( y ya llevan meses esperando) el reverse va a ser de ordago si no quieren evitarlo. Q bien hiciste amputando kiyo.

There is no safety/toxicity issue at all in 8 months.

Please note that this drug was tested already in 3 or 4 different mammals and tumors appeared ONLY in rats. Rats are well known to easily develop tumors; many drugs were approved despite rats’ tumors issue.

The higher number of tumors was significant only in the highest dose group (70 times the human dose) and only when ALL kinds of tumors (even benign and malignant) combined together (which is not done!).

No tumors in more than 7,000 patients receiving the drug in 3 long phase III clinical trials.

Regarding breast tumors - the Leptin induced tumors in rats is well known and doesn’t exist in humans.

Regarding brain tumors – the drug concentration in the CSF in humans was found to be much lower than in rats!
